The Road to 2022

The FIFA 2022 WORLD CUP stadiums are ready to hold the biggest football event in the world! The stadiums design honour Qatar's past and present, while keeping one eye on the future. The day starts with a tour of Legacy Pavilion, hosted by Supreme Committee of Delivery and Legacy. The Pavilion located on the 14th floor of Al Bidda Tower, tells the story of Qatar’s football history, from its origins to winning the rights to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. After the Legacy Pavilion tour, visit Al Bayt FIFA World Cup Stadium in Al Khor City, located in the North of Qatar. The stadium takes its name from bayt al sha'ar – tents historically used by nomadic peoples in Qatar and the Gulf region.
